Number 1 Seed World ISA Titles Japan 1990, 4 Times Australian Surfing Team Captain. As a TV, Radio and Print Media Marine reporter, Darren’s life revolves around the beach/ocean and he has spent numerous hours putting the ‘Quiver Kaddy’ through its paces.

"In my opinion the Quiver Kaddy fills a major need that up until now has left a huge gap in actual time spent enjoying the elements. Cheers to a great idea made readily accessible to the average income earner."

Darren Landers – Former Australian Surfing Champion

"The Quiver Kaddy is a great way to transport surfboards, paddle skis or canoes. Attached to my bike fully loaded, it travels well down the hills and is smooth on the flat roads.
It is a great cost effective and efficient mode of transport for me."

Rudy (16 years)- Noosaville

"We have enjoyed the freedom a Quiver Kaddy has brought our family by leaving the car at home. The design is beach friendly as all components still work well after plenty of use. Cleaning is easy and it stows away to nothing. Thanks Mark for the obvious effort you have put in while designing the Quiver Kaddy, including the smart use of quality materials in its manufacture, so we can effortlessly enjoy the benefits."

"Every morning we set up our business on Coolum Beach with our marquee and up to thirty boards.

My set up time has been slashed in half since using the "Quiver Kaddy"and life has become so much easier. The "Quiver Kaddy" is so useful we ordered another after the first month of using it to make life twice as quick and easy. I fully recommend the "Quiver Kaddy" to all beach goers!!"

The Quiver Kaddy has become an essential part of a fun day at the beach for us.
The Quiver Kaddy is a big part of my surfing life now.

I ride heavy, traditional longboards and I like to surf away from the crowd. My wife also surfs and we take our two little kids (and their boogie boards, toys, towels, umbrellas...) surfing with us. Are you getting the picture? Now we often hike into Tea Tree Bay, through the Noosa national park, towing the Quiver Kaddy, which carries everything. I know other families check us out because we look to be doing it pretty easy, which we are!

WE Have Been getting the Quiver Kaddy 'out there'. Our first weekend back I took the QK to my surf club contest 'Classic Lines' Longboarders Club. I set the QK up with a quiver of boards in it. My club has a contest for Long boards and short boards so I could show the versatility of it. Our Surf club is located across the Onkaparinga River in the sandhills. Access is via a footbridge only and a narrow walkway through the sandhills to the Club.

We would never have attempted to get all the gear over there With out Quiver Kaddy ,
and also to be able to set up a base on the beach and keep some of our gear off the sand.By the way we had to bring the QK home on the plane with us and I must say it was so easy lug my board & gear around the airport on it and the way it folded up so compact, made it easy to transport on the plane. Thank you once again.

California transplant to the Sunny coast uses his "QK" to the fullest. Here's what he's got to say: "Mark, the Quiver Kaddy is better than sliced bread!

We've got 5 surfers in the family so it's well abused on a daily basis, but what I love to do is take 2 or 3 different boards and switch off during a long session. The QK let's me do that without running back and forth to the house every time the tide changes! QK is pure Aloha!"

It's simple! I am forty- three years old and i need to loose weight and get fitter. I surf regularly but the local conditions are small to moderate 99% of the time, it's just not enough.

I have been kidding myself for the last four years that I would make a surfboard trailer for my bike. I even got my senior graphics class to design a trailer for an assignment. However still no trailer. About August I decided enough was enough and I started searching the net for surfboard trailers.

Came across the Quiver Kaddy and the rest is history. Since I've had the Quiver Kaddy ( a month and a half ) I haven't driven to the beach for a surf once. I load up my wife's mal, my trusty Wegener mal, my 10 year old's 7'6 and my eight year old's 5'8 and we all ride to the beach. It distributes the weight so well that my ten year old often tow's it with his bike. We also use with our surfschool to transport boards to the beach from the car park.
Every morning I ride to the beach and go for a surf or at least a paddle. For the first time in years I am losing weight and gaining fitness. My motivation is high and I am really enjoying my surfing a lot more. Mark has done an excellent job with his design.

One of the best features is the way the Kaddy folds up so compact. If you have two kids, two cars and all the toys to go with it you know how much room there is or isn't in a double garage. Good bloke and a good product. Get one!

I use my Quiver Kaddy almost every day to transport my kitesurfing gear to the beach. Sometimes it's just a short walk from the carpark (saving me two or three trips) or I connect my Quiver Kaddy to my bike and ride to the beach. My QK stows nice and flat in my vehicle without taking up too much space.

I can fit all my kites, boards and bags of equipment on one load. My Quiver Kaddy saves me time and energy!

I definitely recommend Quiver Kaddy to any beach user as a means of transporting their gear to the beach.

We have used our QK not only to get our boards down to the beach but also a canoe. With the beach about 600m away we can get to the surf or fish with out having to get the car out and can settle on the beach for the day with all our gear kept together in the kaddy.

It packs away to just about nothing making no issue of storage. Although I have not been over to yorks since owning the kaddy, I cant wait to test it out on the trek to peaks like baby lizards, not having to lug everything on your shoulder in your board bag 1.5 km across the rocky cliff top will make the walk home a breeze. It is the perfect accessory for any family heading to the beach with boards (preferably long!), conoes, body boards, fishing rods, towels, eskys, wettys, sun shades etc…….the list could go on.

The design allows an even distribution of weight making even the most loaded kaddy easily towed by bike or walker.

Thank you to Mark and all the QUiver Kaddy crew for not only their great product but also their commitment to our great sport of longboarding. This will be an accessory we will use long into the future hopefully with our own family one day. Cheers Emma

I was lucky enough to win a Quiver Kaddy in the competition. The family loves it!! At xmas we went on our annual surf trip to Woolgoolga and the Quiver Kaddy was a wonderful asset in transporting all our gear and boards.

It made the 800m trip easy and none complained about having to use the Kaddy. We received a number of looks and enquiries. Low and behold I see you stock the Kaddy in the local surf shop!
My boys also use it behind the bike to surf at Twinnies when I am not around. They find it a quick and safe way to get their gear and boards to the beach. I also use it to get my racing ski to the canal for a paddle.

It has made a long carry effortless. Great product!!! We love it. Keep up the great work.

So, the lowdown: The Quiver Kaddy was amazing. A LOT of people asked about it and where to get it. One guy on the Golden Gate bridge said to make sure to tell you that he was buying one as result of seeing us peddling.... sweet! Feedback on the performance of the trailer:

I had bought a Wheele before you donated the Quiver Kaddy, and found out very quickly in the first day that there is NO way that trailer would have worked. In fact, it would have ended the trip. The Quiver Kaddy was solid throughout...580 miles of up and down, narrow roads, winds, and bumpy roads.

The only small things I noticed were as follows: Once we hit the golden gate, the cross winds were heavy and there was not enough room to extend the axels. So, I dropped the vertical bars and carried the boards laying flat (like on a car rack).

This took care of the wind issues and made things more stable. Other than that, I couldn't speak highly enough of the trailer. What a great design. I really feel like we were able to field test the quiver kaddy in about as harsh of conditions as can be... this was no small trip to the beach.
I really appreciated that I could stand up and peddle on the bike up hills and only feel the weight behind me, not the trailer moving or swaying. So, thanks again so much. You truly made the trip possible.

Here's what people had to say about their experience using their Quiver Kaddy's
I live near the creek at Burleigh.

The Quiver kaddy has changed a few things for me. Previously, the options for getting multiple craft down the beach or to the points was the car . It's a little difficult trying to ride your pushy with an SUP board under your arm...Aside from that, the days I want to take a few different craft I can, no strap the longboard on the roof, the fish in the car blah, blah, its slide em in and roll with the Quiver Kaddy .

It's good for fitness, good for the earth and makes the outdoor shower or hose off when you get home seem so much more inviting. What I would really like to do , is load the thing up with a few boards, a little tent and packy, then ride around Australia...it's nice to dream !"
