Fernando Zegers wins trials event held in 12 foot Punta de Lobos
Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 18 April, 2013 : – – With a solid swell sweeping it’s way up Chile’s coastline the Quiksilver Ceremonial Chile trials were held in 12 foot Punta de Lobos. The left hand point break hosted a field of 24 surfers all battling it out for a ticket to the main event.
After some crazy wipeouts and epic rides the top 4 surfers will have a chance to surf in the first stop of the 2013/14 Big Wave World Tour. Congratulations to all who qualified, see you when the Quiksilver Ceremonial gets green lit.
